The Weather service making note of an atmospheric river on the way with heavy rain, strong winds and high freezing levels.
As we noted in our notes of earlier this afternoon, rainfall totals for Prince Rupert are anticipated to be in the range of 100 to 150 mm.
The weather statement notes that lesser amounts expected for Haida Gwaii and Kitimat and that the weather event will ease on Monday morning.
