The latest of training for the City of Prince Rupert Fire/Rescue department is putting some focus on the work of incident scene management, with firefighters and local fire department dispatchers taking in two days of training on the topic.
In a note to their social media feed, the PRFD outlines some of the program for training, which includes refresher courses on incident appraisal, strategies and tactics of response, communication and a range os tactical benchmarks.
As part of the program, the city's fire dispatchers are cross trained towards addressing any emergency incidents that may arise.
