Prince Rupert's 2021-22 Curling season underway

The ice is in and the action underway for the Prince Rupert
Curling Club season at the Seal Cove Rink

Rocks were sliding fast and hurry hards were roaring loud across the frozen surfaces on Wednesday as the 2021-22 Prince Rupert Curling Season finally got underway, with the new sheet of ice getting its official baptism .

Work on the ice at the Seal Cove club was taking place right up the the first end of the new season as volunteers worked their magic to bring the surface up to expectations.

The Curling Club is still accepting new teams for the return of the sport which like many others was suspended during times of COVID, though as we noted earlier in the fall, there are COVID protocol requirements in place.

For information on how to register a team for lease play, see this post from the Curling Club's Facebook page for further details.

The PRCC is also ready to launch the first event of the 2021-22 calendar, with the Ugly Sweater Christmas Sturling Spiel set for December 4th
