| Lax Keen Elementary on the east side of Prince Rupert Students of all SD52 schools and the Independent School Annunciation return to class on Tuesday |
The final days of summer vacation are making their count downwards towards destiny on Tuesday and the start of the 2022-23 School year, with both School District 52 and Annunciation set to open the doors for another year of education.
For the Public Schools Opening Day is September 6th with a range of start times depending on the grade students are enrolled in.
For All Elementary Schools
Kindergarten families have been notified of start dates and times by their neighbourhood schools
For Grades One to Five the first day of school goes from 10AM to Noon
Prince Rupert Middle School
Grade 7 --10 AM to 11:30AM
Grade 8 -- 10:30AM to Noon
Grade 6 -- 1 PM to 2:45 PM
Charles Hays Secondary School
Grade 9 -- 1PM to 2:45 PM
Grades 10, 11, 12 -- 10:45 AM to Noon
Pacific Coast School
Grades 9-12 -- 10 AM
Annunciation Parents and students have been advised through the school's communication options as to the plan for their first day of School.

Elementary School offices remain open from 9 AM to Noon until Friday for the registration of new students or those that have moved during the summer. With the exception of Port Edward which is open today only from 9 AM to 11:30
Charles Hays Secondary, Pacific Coast School and Prince Rupert Middle School offices are open from 9 AM to 3PM until September 2nd for registration.
Regular Class Schedules will start on Wednesday September 7th.
