Friday Night Curling League seeks members

It's a mid October launch for the Friday Nigh Curling League at the
Prince Rupert Curling Club at Seal Cove

With the success of last weekends Curling debuts now behind them, the Prince Rupert Curling Club is looking to settle into the 2017-18 Curling season on the North Coast.

Apparently with no fear of superstition, the Friday Night Curling League is looking to start the season on October 13th and will need to have the participating teams in place by October 11th.

Those planning to participate in the Friday night action are asked to contact Crystal MacLeod through the Prince Rupert Curling Clubs Facebook page.

Those that may be new to town and looking to get involved with the curling scene in the city can find out more through the social media portal

Saturday's Corporate Challenge crowned the group from REMAX Coast Mountains as the first rink to win what is anticipated to be an annual event, the success of the Remax squad was celebrated by the Club following the event.

The next event set for the Club is coming up on October 14th with the Sturling Spiel, which features three games with 2 person teams. The entry fee is 60 dollars per team and includes a buffet dinner provided by Prince Rupert's Cargo.

Those looking to register for that event can contact Marjorie Peacock at peacock@citywest.ca
