This Saturday shoppers at Prince Rupert's Canada Safeway will have a chance to help out the local Salvation Army Food Bank as BC Transit hosts the annual Stuff the Bus campaign.
One of the city's Transit buses will be in the parking lot From 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, ready to accept your donation of a non-perishable food item, clothing or cash, part of a province wide campaign to lend a hand to community food banks and organizations that takes place in the early part of December.
Those who offer up a donation will be offered a free bus ride in return for their generosity, making for a good opportunity to take a tour of the city if you work your transfers and connections right.
