Paperwork and the head count kept the Northern Adventure in port in Prince Rupert an additional two hours today

The Northern Adventure is running two hours behind schedule following
some paper work issues at the Prince Rupert Terminal

Travellers to Haida Gwaii were faced with a two hour delay today, as BC Ferries personnel had to conduct a manual head count of passengers after the manifest for the sailing did not match up with the vehicle load at departure time.

A notice on the BC Ferries website highlighted the issue for the Sunday sailing.

The manual count which took longer than BC Ferries had anticipated meant that the vessel did not depart until just after the Noon hour; it was expected to arrive in Skidegate at 5:40 PM

More updates on the travels of the vessel can be found from the BC Ferries Service Notices page.
