Real Estate Tracker: Week ending August 11, 2019

One slight change marks our look at the ten top end listings for Prince Rupert this week, with a property on Sloan Avenue returning to the listings pages, making for one of six in the 600,000 dollar range.

Every Monday, we look over the listing prices of the past seven days and outline the Top 10 asking prices in the area, providing a snap shot as to where the Real Estate market may be trending on a week-to-week basis.

Real Estate Listings on the West Side of Prince Rupert

Week ending August 11, 2019

(No listings from the East side of Prince Rupert cracked the ten top properties of the week)

It's a shut out this week for the east side of town, as all of our listings hail from the west side of the McBride street line. Seven of the ten top end properties found in the Graham/Atlin area of the city.

The total value of the list of ten shifts above the 7 million mark this week, thanks to the million dollar plus listing on Graham and is now pegged at $7,081,900

The lowest mark for the list of ten sits  at  $588,000, while our top end from the last week now is marked  at the price point of  $1,350,000

Last Friday, we made note of the findings from a new survey from Maclean's magazine which explored the Best Communities in Canada, and from that review, it was housing affordability that helped to push Prince Rupert into the Top 50 of their listings for 2019.
