With Rupert Lawn And Garden set to embark on an ambitious expansion plan for the off season, the Seal Cove retail location is about to bring their summer season to an early end and as they prepare to wind down their work for the year, they currently are offering some discounts for customers on a range of products.

The Good News for garden aficionados was posted to the Rupert Lawn and Garden Facebook page over the weekend, inviting customers to drop by and help clear out the supplies to get the remodelling under way.

When Sherry Pringle reopens the gates in the Spring of 2020 it will be a brand new experience for Gardeners on the North Coast, with the company which is owned and operated by the Gitmaxmak'ay Nisga'a Society set to demolish the existing structure and then rebuild from the foundation up.

As we outlined in May, the Society recently concluded a leasing arrangement with the City of Prince Rupert for land to the south of the existing facility, directly adjacent to the property on Bellis Road in Seal Cove.

The work on the site is expected to get underway by the end of the month, with the construction timeline for the new facility to ramp up through the fall and winter with hope for Grand Reopening expected in the Spring.
