Hosted by Carolina de Ryk and with the newest of helpful elves for the CBC team in Matthew Allen along for the show, they will take the radio studio on the road, well three blocks of road at least, to the popular coffee shop in the heart of the city.
They have assembled another strong line up of participants in place for the Friday morning's broadcast starting at 7AM with a bit of overtime after the radio program goes off the air until 9:30.
Making for a good way to launch the city's Winterfest celebrations you can drop in to hear from the Rotary Choir and "Friends of the CBC" trio.
Also planned for the morning are some Seasonal readings presented by Hans Seidemann, Aurora Martin and Michael Gurney.
Some of the Rogers Hometown Hockey team will also stop by, along with a number of local luminaries who will pop in and out through the course of the two and half hours, all of them awaiting the arrival of Santa.
The focus of course is on the local Food Bank and your chance to lend a hand at what is the busiest season of the year to meet the challenges facing the community and those in need.
To help spur on the spirit of giving, the Daybreak Team also have some pretty sharp CBC winter gear for those who make a donation of 100 dollars or more during Friday's event.
Prince Rupert's Java dot Cup (across from the Capital Mall) will be the setting once again for CBC Daybreak North's Open House for the Food Bank The event takes place from 7 to 9:30 on Friday morning |
You can catch up on any late additions to Friday's from the Facebook page created for the event or through Ms. de Ryk's twitter feed.
