Prince Rupert RCMP issue call for assistance of the public on a new missing person file

Members of the Prince Rupert detachment of the RCMP are looking 
for a missing reassert who is also wanted in relation to a number
of warrants


Update: Mr. Morrison has been located.

The Prince Rupert RCMP is seeking the assistance of the public as they work a case file on a missing Prince Rupert resident.

The Prince Rupert detachment outlined some background notes on the disappearance of 28 year old Gerald James Michael Morrison, last seen on November 2nd  at around 7PM in the 8th Avenue West area of the city.

Mr. Morrison is described as an Indigenous male, six foot, three inches, 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is noted to often wear clothing dark in colour and with brown boots.


Among there notes on the case file, the Prince Rupert detachment notes that Gerald may be avoiding detection as he has several endorsed warrants for his arrest

As a result of that, the RCMP is requesting that no one approach Gerald. but instead call the Prince Rupert RCMP at 250-627-2136 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). 

The advisory also outlines that Gerald's family is concerned for his well-being and hoping that he is located promptly.
