A new youth activity is being introduced by St. Paul's Lutheran Church with this Sunday marking the start of a monthly series of movie nights for teens in grades 8-12.

Each month, the evening showing will tackle a different moral issue of the day. Teens are invited to view a film and then participate in an open discussion on the moral issues raised in the film.

The viewings are free and open to all teens in grades 8-12.

As part of the monthly events, Pizza and popcorn will be provided. There will be different themes throughout the year, starting with the moral implications of war and conflict around the world for the first three films.

The event takes place on the Second Sunday of the Month (September to June) from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Community Hall at St. Paul’s Lutheran which is located at the corner of Fifth and McBride.

You can find out more information from the Church by contacting them at 250-624-4164 or through their website.

Keep up with events through the year  by way of their Facebook page.
