Getting a good and nutritious start to the school day is the focus for a program underway at School District 52, with the Schools of the District participating in the Breakfast Club of Canada program.

The national initiative is one which has also brought local volunteers into the schools to run the once a week venture, with SD52 saluting those that are involved in the Prince Rupert program through a social media post on Thursday, which outlined how the initiative works in the city.

Some background towards the program which will run in Prince Rupert through to December for now,  can be explored further through the Breakfast Club of Canada website and Facebook page.

You can check out some photos of the program in action and the results of all that good help from the Rupert Schools Facebook page here.
