Declines in case counts for the most part are the rule of the week when it comes to the data release today from the BC CDC, with only the Smithers area and Central Coast marking for an uptick of six for each region from last week's level of COVID infections.
Though some areas of the Northwest are still high, particularly the Terrace region which is listed at 61 for the week, but down significantly from last week when the count was 88.
Prince Rupert saw a slight decrease over the last seven days as well , with a count of 26 cases as of October 30th, a decline of seven from the week previous
The Nass Valley has also seen a reduction in case counts from last week's high of 25.

Wednesday's provincial report lists 37 new cases of COVID for Northern Health, with 550 Active cases.
There is no update available for hospitalizations in the North, with the BC CDC having not had an update to their Dashboard information system since October 29th.
