Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach will return to a familiar role when the House of Commons returns to duty later this month, with the MP to take on the work as Transport Critic and Deputy Critic for Infrastructure and Communities.

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh outlined the full list of critics roles in late October, dividing the work among twenty three NDP MP's for the fall session ahead.

Upon his reappointment, The MP notes of his plans to ensure that Northwest issues get the national attention that they deserve, as well as a renewed dedication towards putting a focus on addressing climate change issues in the area of Transportation.

The Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP made note of his work ahead through his Facebook page.

That Social media  forum has already provided the MP with a list of topics to work on as the fall session gets underway on November 22nd.

Among those with comments for the Skeena-Bulkley Valley member of Parliament is Judy Carlick -Pearson who asks that the MP continue to fight for stricter mariner regulations, an issue that the MP did take up in the last session following the deaths of Ms. Carlick's husband Troy Pearson and fellow tug boat crew member Charley Cragg.

Other areas where constituents would like to see their MP continue to push the federal government on include better VIA Rail service, Rail Safety through communities of the Northwest, as well as concerns over the volume of truck traffic now found on regional highways across the region.

Mr. Bacharch will also bring a municipal eye towards themes of infrastructure and communities having served as Mayor of Smithers previous to his election two years ago and re-election in September of this year.
