Tomorrow's return for the Seafest Parade will mean that motorists should make alternate plans for travel and parking along the Third AVenue Corridor and some of the adjoining streets, with some measures to go into effect tonight.

The City of Prince Rupert has posted an advisory to their Social media stream noting that as of this evening there will be NO PARKING along Third West from McBride to Ninth Street, with the road to be closed to traffic as of 6AM on Saturday morning.

As well, Road closures will be in place tomorrow for all of the streets that lead from Third To Second West in an area from First Street to 7th Street.

Road closures also are in effect from Grenville Court, Fifth Street and Fulton leading to Third Avenue West.

The parade marshalling area will form up from 7th Street to 9th Street.

The parade will start its journey down Third Avenue West starting at 11AM

More notes on the parade and other Seafest themes can be explored through the Prince Rupert Special Events Society Social Media stream.
