Friendship House prepares the welcome back to school for 2019, with plans for a school supplies distribution this month

Soup and School Supplies will be the theme of the day at
Prince Rupert's Friendship House on August 20th

With students from around the North Coast set to make their return to school just after the Labour Day Weekend, the time for the distribution of school supplies is at hand for Prince Rupert's Friendship House.

As they have in the past, the local organization based on Fraser Street is making plans for its annual project, with staff currently taking registration information from parents to prepare packages for distribution later this month.

This year hey will be hosting an event on August 20th, where they invite parents and their youngsters down to the Friendship House to pick up their school supplies, with the program to take place from 1 to 4 PM.

You can find out more about the school supply program from the Friendship House Facebook page.
