The next few days will offer a few informational themes for students of Coast Mountain College's Prince Rupert Campus, the first taking place today as the college brings its Beyond the Blues series to the North Coast.
The Drop in session offers games, prizes, pizza and swag to name some of the day's plans, offering a chance to lear more about mental health resources through the college, as well as to access confidential self-screening and mental wellbeing services.

Tomorrow International students will have an opportunity to learn more about the current federal government programs for students including how to extend their youth study permit.
The half hour workshop takes place in Room 189 at the Prince Rupert campus or is also available as an online conference, learn more about the program here.
International students also have been offered an opportunity to expand on any employment that they currently have, with the provisions for the twenty hour cap on hours allowed to work recently lifted until the end of the year by the Federal government.
The provision which begins in November, is set to have a sunset date of December 31, 2023 but many advocates for international students are calling for the lifting of the work hours cap to be made permanent.
The Prince Rupert campus has a significant amount of International students through its program offerings, many of whom are in the local work force at any number of jobs in the community.
