Nisga'a Lisims Government wins major award for Human Resources efforts

The Human Resources side of the Nisga'a Lisims Government received some impressive recognition over the weekend, as the First Nations' HR team was awarded a prestigious award as part of a major gathering of  Canadian Human Resources professionals in Toronto.

The NLG received recognition in the Best Reward and Strategy category, one of some seventeen awards handed out on November 7th, the highlight of the weekend for those attending the 2014 Canadian Human Resources Awards event.

The Nisga'a Lisims Government finished atop the listings which included a number of other high profile companies and government agencies. The criteria for the nominations for their category included such things as creation and innovation, recognition support and incentives for initiatives to name a few.
