Update: 1:00 PM Travel Advisory issued for Highway 37 North and from Terrace East further into the Bulkley Valley
(see updates here )
While the oncoming Pacific Front has delivered rain to the North Coast, a little further inland, the colder temperatures are making for Travel warnings to be issued for those travelling along Highways leading into and out of Terrace and Kitimat.
Travel Advisories were issued just before 1 PM today advising that Freezing Rain was falling in the interior areas of the North Coast, with both Highway 16 and 37 highlighted as troublesome stretches.
Further inland, snow was making for slippery sections of highway travel east of Terrace.
