They never really stopped looking for new recruits, but we imagine that without a place to swim, the months of September and October provided for pretty low numbers when it came to those looking to join the North Coast's popular swim club, the Prince Rupert Rapids.
As we outlined earlier, the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre returned to operational status on November 3rd and now that everyone is back into the swim of things, the Rapids are looking to make up for lost time when it comes to attracting new members.
With a full schedule now back in place, the Rapids are looking forward to the current season and the chance to train and host tournaments in their own pool.
More details about what the Prince Rupert Rapids have to offer can lbw found on their website or Facebook page.
From those two locations you can learn about Fundraising efforts, Family Assistance Programs, as well as importation information for New swimmers, just to name a few of the many items covered.
Registration is now ongoing and those interested in taking to the pool with the club can contact them at 250 624 8023
