TriCorp to host Youth Conference August 7 & 8 at Nisga'a Hall

Youth from around the North Coast and beyond will be gathering in Prince Rupert next week set to take part in a Youth Conference being organized by TriCorp the Northwest Tribal Resource Investment Corporation.

Set for the Nisga'a Hall the Don't Dream It ... Be It!! Conference takes place on August 7th and 8th and features a range of activities for youth including motivational speakers, along with performers James Jones and Marika Sila.

The conference is focused mainly on those from 16 to 21, but so far also includes participants ranging from 14 to 28.

It is recommended that those under the age of 16 should have a chaperone.

Today is the final day for registration for the event.

A number of community partners have lent their assistance to ensuring that the conference has the resources required to deliver a powerful two day program.
