The plates along the Haida Gwaii fault between the Islands and Vancouver island rattled once again on Monday |
There was another shudder along the fault line of Haida Gwaii with a 4.8 magnitude earthquake recorded at 10:46 Monday evening just off the southern tip of the islands.
The epicentre was noted as 297 kilometres South of Prince Rupert
According to the USGS, the temblor had a depth of 10 kilometres.
There was no Tsunami alert generated by the seismic event
It's the latest of what have been a string of similar sized events in the last few months.
