Unique job opportunity through Friendship House to advocate and Support First Nations Children


An opportunity to become an advocate for area First Nations children and their families is currently part of the Help Wanted listings for Prince Rupert's Friendship House on Fraser Street in the city's downtown core.

The position is that of a coordinator for the Jordan's Principle program, which serves to be liaison towards delivering supports for children and families both on and off reserve with local regional communities.

The Federally funded program  has been in place since 2016 and has provided for a range of services across Canada.
