Inland areas of North Coast, Northwest under Heat Warning for the week

The heatwave is on for much of the Northwest and inland areas of the North Coast,  the HEAT WARNING advisory issued by Environment Canada providing residents notice of what's ahead and how they should prepare for the extended period of temperatures that will get as high as 33 degrees.

The Heat Warnings cover much of British Columbia this week, with only the North Coast, Haida Gwaii, West and North Vancouver Island and border areas near the Yukon and the Kootenays not listed in the extensive accounts of Hot weather ahead.

The Prince Rupert area may see some visitors from Inland looking for a bit of relief from the heat and nice breeze from the ocean.  

The day time high temperature between the North Coast and the Skeena Valley will have a thirteen degree difference between the two regions.

Once the fog burns off for Prince Rupert the High temperature today under sunny skies will 21 degrees, which is much the forecast through until Sunday.
