Recreation Centre Preparing for September Community Registration Evening

The Civic Centre will be the destination in early September
as the annual Community Registration Evening takes place

The annual one stop shopping night for community activities is currently in the planning stages, with the City of Prince Rupert Recreation Department taking the registrations from community groups and organizations that may want to participate in "Community Registration Evening".

The event is a popular one for parents, guardians and community residents as it brings many of the activities and community groups to one place for one night of registration, as well as a chance to ask questions about the programs that are offered in Prince Rupert.

The night is all one where Community groups and sports organizations can recruit some volunteers to help with their operations and give residents a chance for some community involvement.

Registration evening comes just as the summer is coming to a end, with September 6th the date for this years event, with the Auditorium at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre the destination from 5 to 7 PM.

To learn more about the event, or to register your group for the opportunity contact Heidi at the Civic Centre at heidi.dewildt@princerupert.ca
