Prince Rupert's Return to Big Screen viewing comes June 15th

Movie fans can make their plans to take in a show starting next Tuesday, with the Famous Players Prince Rupert Cinemas re-opening their doors on the 15th, the latest signal that the closures of COVID are coming to an end.

The Prince Rupert theatres, like all across the province, were told to close their doors last Fall when they were included in the Provincial Health Officer's ban on indoor events.

The June 15th reopening coincides with the start of Phase Two of the BC Government's Restart Plan, with Indoor seated gatherings limited to Fifty people.

While they reopen, a note on the Famous Players website notes that there will still be some COVID related safety measures in place to keep guests and staff stay safe.

The Tuesday opening features two movies to check out

The Theatre will light up all three screens on Thursday, when the third new release makes its debut at the Prince Rupert theatre.

You can learn more from the Prince Rupert Cinemas website here.

The Prince Rupert theatre is not the only one opening up in the region, Terrace's Twin Tillicum Theatres reopen their doors on June 18th,
