AltaGas sets September 14th as Career Opportunity Session for Metlakatla and Lax Kw'alaams members

Members of the Lax Kw'alaams Band and Metlakatla First Nation will have opportunity to learn of career opportunities with AltaGas this coming Tuesday, with the Alberta base energy company with terminal operations on Ridley Island hosts in Information session.

The event will take place Tuesday, September 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 in the new Lax Kw'alaams Community Hall, located at 824 3rd Avenue West, across from Save on Foods in Prince Rupert.

is the host venue for the evening session

The position of note is that of a tech 4 entry level position includes on-site job training. Job description: safely connecting, inspecting, sampling, and disconnecting LPG railcars. Successful applicants will be working under the direction of a seasoned Gas Processing Operator until fully trained. 


Those attending are reminded  to bring a resume and that COVID protocols will be in place for the event.
