Since November of 2021, the Masset RCMP have been tracking a growing number of Break and Enter reports in the Haida Gwaii community, and towards the several reports received to date, the Mounties on the Islands are looking for some help from the public.

"Police are actively investigating these crimes and hope the public can provide information that may help investigators" -- Sgt Damon MacDonald, NCO in charge Masset RCMP.

The RCMP in Masset are advising residents to report all suspicious activity to the detachment, as well as to make sure that they keep all of their doors and windows locked, particularly when you are not in your residence or business.

Should you have any information to share on the recent string of Break and Enters, you are asked to contact the Masset detachment at 250-626-3991.
