Friday evening Transit services suspended by BC Transit owing to driver shortage

Transit users in Prince Rupert are reminded that BC Transit in the city is operating under its Monday-Thursday schedule today, the extended Friday evening service not available owing to an ongoing driver shortage in the community.

BC Transit noted the need for change in late June outlining the background to the situation through their website schedule change listings.

The suspension of the late night service means that the last bus out of the downtown core departs from the transit exchanges at 615 PM
