The last of the local events for Pride month in Prince Rupert took place just before Canada Day, with a group of community volunteers putting a new coat of paint on the Pride Pathway in the Cow Bay Area.

The new paint was put down on June 27th, during a particularly sunny patch for the city.

The Pathway, a former CN Rail trestle runs parallel to George Hills Way over the slough near Cowpuccino's, across the street from Breakers.

More notes on the event and a collection of pictures from painting day can be found from the Prince Rupert Pride Facebook page
