Prince Rupert Port Authority adds SM Lines to the vessel calls list at DP World Fairview

A new shipping line is making use of DP World and
the Prince Rupert gateway

Harbour watchers keeping an eye on the Prince Rupert waterfront will want to take note of a new shipping line set to serve the Prince Rupert Gateway, with the Prince Rupert Port Authority welcoming the arrival of the SM Line the line up of vessel cals.

The Korean based shipping line, part of a larger Korean conglomerate with many industrials elements,  has started a weekly service between Prince Rupert and ports in Korea and China.

The SM Line Corporate vision offers up a glimpse of how they view their operations and their placement in the global shipping industry.

The SM Group's watermark reflects its long-term management strategy focusing on unrelenting challenge, passion, and innovation. The red symbolizes SM people’s positive attitude toward creative challenge and not being afraid of change or innovation. The shaded part of the SM watermark represents the sunrise, embodying the SM Group's will to benefit the whole world as built on a foundation of customer satisfaction and trust.

Having a new shipping line putting Prince Rupert on the vessel call calendar will serve to expand the awareness of what the Prince Rupert Gateway has to offer shipping companies in Asia looking for the shortest amount of time to get their products to mark.
