Civic Centre Auditorium to host Community Registration Night this evening starting at 5PM

With school back in session, the next sign of the soon the be upon us fall and winter season arrives tonight with the Prince Rupert Civic Centre the venue for the annual Community Registration Evening.

The event  which takes place from 5-7 PM brings many of the sports, cultural and community groups in the city to the Auditorium for an Events' Fair of Sorts, allowing parents or guardians and their children a chance to see what kind of activities are available for the next few months.

In addition, the City of Prince Rupert Recreation Department will be on hand to help out with information on the range of programs available through the Civic Centre, Earl May Aquatic Centre and other facilities.

Yesterday, the Recreation Department provided for an updated list on which groups will be in attendance this evening.

Last week we provided some background to the Registration event, including notes on some options for families that may have some financial needs to help get their children into programs outside of school activities.

You can review all of those notes from last week here.

For any last minute updates related to this evenings Registration program see the City of Prince Rupert Recreation Department Facebook page.
