A window of opportunity for community groups, organizations and others to access Funding from the Prince Rupert Port Authority's Community Investment Fund is about to open, with the Port accepting applications and proposals from January 10 to February 13.
Towards providing would be applicants with some background on the fund, the PRPA is hosting a Virtual Information session on Wednesday, January 12th from Noon to 12:30 PM.
As part of the information forum Port officials will outline the criteria for application, review some of the past successes of the program and provide for some helpful tips towards application preparation.
The session will end with a Question and Answer period where Port representatives will further outline some of the themes of the CIF program.

The popular funding program has seen the Port commit over 14 million dollars towards community projects and initiatives across the Northwest over the last eleven years.
To date more than 90 project have been assisted by funding through the CIF.
