Last week saw the annual property assessment notices made public, with residents of the Northwest able to explore their property assessment through an online option, with paper copies to arrive in the mail through this week ahead.
Of note for Prince Rupert was the significant jump in property assessments in the city with much of the housing stock looking at a thirty precent increase in assessment value, this years assessment review also found 11 properties valued at over 1 million dollar along the Graham Avenue stretch.
With a few other million dollar homes or close to that mark spread out in other areas of the city.
