While the focus for the Rampage will turn to the ice and the pace of the game tomorrow night, much of the last few months has found the team engaged in a number of community building plans.
In August and early September we made note of their work to help raise money for the local Prince Rupert Minor Basketball Program, and in September the team offered up a glimpse as to how it will be lending a hand to the Prince Rupert Minor Hockey Association as well.
The community element has made for one of the strongest parts to the teams success over the years, with the team's off ice work serving to benefit many groups and organizations over the years.
The drop of the puck on Saturday launches the marathon ahead for the local side, with the season ahead one that continues on to the first week of February for the regular season, with the Rampage and their fans hoping for an extend run into March all the way to a Coy Cup berth.
