After a one year absence, the Big Sound of the Ring System Music Studio returns to the Lester Centre Saturday night

Showtime Beckons Saturday night at the Lester Centre of the Arts
for Ian Lihou and his students at the Ring System Music Studio

The return of a popular holiday event in Prince Rupert launches the last week before Christmas on Saturday night, with the many talents of the Ring System Music Studio taking to the stage of the Lester Centre with a show time of 7PM.

The annual event, like many last year was sidelined by COVID-19, and while the current path of the virus seems to be taking a new and concerning turn, the Jingle Bell Rock showcase is still on for tomorrow night, with the range of now familiar COVID precautions in place for the event.

Over forty of Ian Lihou's students at Ring System will be on stage at the Lester Centre on Saturday night, the participants showing off the deep bench of the city's musical and vocal talents ready to celebrate the 10th edition of the Holiday event with a range of musical stylings to entertain.

Those taking in the Saturday night show may find that the Big Sound from the Stage has a bigger presence in the theatre, the Ring System students just the latest to be able to check out the new sound system in the Lester Centre, which as we highlighted earlier this week has brought a new level of audio enjoyment to the city's premier arts venue.

Admission to the event is by donation for the Salvation Army's Christmas Appeal, doors open at 6PM for the 7PM showtime.

Tickets to the event are available at the Lester Centre Box Office, Cook's Jewellers or the Lester Centre online portal.

Learn more about tomorrows performance of Jingle Bell Rock from the Facebook page created for the event, or the Lester Centre website event page.
