Santa's Helpers in Lax Kw'alaams will have a bit of extra time to tend to their last minute Christmas shopping tasks starting tomorrow.
With the Lax Kw'alaams Ferry adding on to the sailing schedule in anticipation of a busy week of transit between the community and Prince Rupert.
Up to six sailings a day are in place for most days up until the 23rd of December, with the prospect of Santa's arrival dropping the runs to two on the 24th with no sailings scheduled for Christmas Day.
The Marine Transportation System returns to its regular schedule on the 26th
