Cram-A-Cruiser to help the Salvation Army on Tuesday

The Canada Safeway Parking Lot will be the location Tuesday for the first
edition of the Cram-a-Cruiser project in aid of the Salvation Army

One more opportunity to lend a hand to the Salvation Army this holiday season comes up this Tuesday as the Prince Rupert RCMP and Canada Safeway Team up to Cram-a-Cruiser.

The event which is popular in many other communities in the Northwest makes for its first appearance in Prince Rupert next week, with all donations of non perishable food items and toys to be collected by the Salvation Army for distribution in the region.

One of the Prince Rupert Detachment's newest members, Constable Amir Basra will be one of the participants on hand at the event and is looking forward to meeting residents of the community.

"My aim is to give back to the people of Prince Rupert and to ensure everyone has an enjoyable holiday season. I hope the community can come out to support and together we make sure that everyone has food and toys to enjoy during the holidays. I am excited about this event and look forward to engaging with the people of Prince Rupert."

The Prince Rupert Cram A Cruiser event takes place from Noon to Five PM on Tuesday at the Safeway Parking Lot on Second Avenue West.
