Northwest Communication company CityWest got the Holiday gift giving season underway earlier this month, launching their annual 12 Days of Christmas event off in early December, with the 12 days of Gift Giving to customers wrapping up last Friday with the Grand Prize Announcement.

Friday, Terrace resident Kam Siemens was the lucky recipient, claiming the Grand Prize of Traegar Smoker from CityWest partner City Furniture.

You can review the full list of 12 winners of the 2021 Holiday season from the CityWest Facebook page.

CityWest was into the holiday spirit early this year, takin on the Sponsorship and lead hands for the annual display of lights at the Prince Rupert Court House.

They not only put their own financial support to the Prince Rupert Special Events project; but also saw a number of staff members volunteer their time to prepare for the popular and quite vivid lighting display that has been illuminating the McBride Street Court House Lawn since early December.

The Prince Rupert based company now heads into its own Holiday period and has provided a list of their Hours of Operation across their Northwest system to carry you through to the New Year.

2021 proved to be a very active year for the City of Prince Rupert owned communication company, with expansion of their northwest services and some forward momentum for the Connected Coast Fibre program which is now making its way to Haida Gwaii and points south into 2022.
