If you're travelling aboard the vessels of BC Ferries on the North Coast towards, or on Haida Gwaii, best stop off at a bank machine, as the Ferry Corporation is having some technical problems with their Debit and Credit card machines.
A Service Notice posted yesterday on the BC Ferries website outlines the nature of the issues currently affecting the SkidegateTerminal
As of this afternoon the cash only situation still seems to be in place, with no further updates posted to the BC Ferries Service Notice page.
