The Charles Hays Crops are in at Fukasaku Marketplace

A unique partnership between the students at Charles Hays Secondary School, Ectorust Canada and Fukasaku Marketplace in the Atlin Terminal  has brought an opportunity to access some locally grown produce.

The initiative brings the crops of the popular CHSS Garden Project to the Marketplace on the waterfront, with the goal of building the Garden program the main focus.

The Fuakasku Marketplace outlined how the collaboration works in a Social Media page posting today.

The project has been assisted by Charles Gerein and you can contact him at charles@ecotrust.ca to learn more about the local initiative.

Ecotrust Canada is also the group developing the Urban Farm in downtown Prince Rupert.

You can lean more about the program and check out some photos from the partners as part of the Fukasaku Facebook feed.

Check out the CHSS Bags from the Fuskasku location in the Atlin Mall in the Cow Bay District.
