With three days of festivities ahead set to make Prince Rupert the event centre of the Northwest for the weekend ahead.
Those taking part in sports also have an active three days coming up, with a number of tournaments scheduled as part of the Seafest celebrations.
Among some of the activities for North Coast residents and our visitors to check out as the weekend rolls along include:
Seafest Men's Soccer tournament at the CHSS Field
Seafest Slow Pitch Tournament at the Civic Centre Ball Fields
Tim Horton's 4 on 4 Street hockey Challenge (6th Street along side Tim Horton's)
Prince Rupert Rugby Club Men's Tournament at Patullo Field

Seafest also hosts the long running tradition of the Jim Ciccone Memorial 3 on 3 Basketball Challenge
(Note: As of Thursday, organizers have had to cancel this years 3 on 3 basketball event after low registration numbers were received for the event)
The event which is observing its 20th anniversary this year features seven divisions for competition.
