The 156th celebration for Meltakatla is set for Thursday, with June 7th the rescheduled date for the event which had been scheduled for May 24th.
The Band office had changed the date of the original celebration out of respect of a recent death in the community of May.
Thursday's celebrations will feature community activities and a seafood luncheon, which volunteers have been working towards for the last few months.
Thursdays events take place from 11:30 to 3PM
Ferry transportation departs Prince Rupert at 11 AM to bring participants across the harbour.
