RCMP Musical Ride travels to Northwest through July

The RCMP's Musical Ride makes a return to British Columbia this year and three of the events on the  20 date BC schedule bring the Mounties, their horses and support team into the Northwest, late into the month.

Any Prince Rupert residents looking in to take in a show will have to do a bit of travelling of their own to watch the world famous ride. With your GPS pointing eastbound and the interior regions of the North Coast through July.

Three performances are set for the region, with stops in Terrace, Smithers and Burns Lake on 2018 BC Itinerary.

July 24 -- Burns Lake -- Eagle Creek Fairgrounds
July 26 -- Thornhill -- Thornhill Fair Grounds
July 28 -- Smithers -- Bulkley Valley Exhibition Grounds

Smithers has been quick to the publicity beat to make sure to get the word out about their event, taking to Social media over the weekend with a preview of the June 2 stopover at the Bulkley Valley Exhibition Grounds.

For those that haven't had an opportunity to experience the ride, Shania Twain provided a sample of what it's all about from this video from 2015.
