Out with the old; In with the New! Introducing Coast Mountain College

Curious residents of the Northwest looking to learn more about the launch
of Coast Mountain college were taken to a temporary holding page, the
new online portal for the college went live this morning

The Prince Rupert campus of the community college formerly known as Northwest took on a make over over the weekend, as new signage went up and websites changed to reflect the re-branding of the Northwest's post secondary institution as Coast Mountain College.

The makeover is taking place at all campus locations across the Northwest, as the college takes on a new visual look after more than four decades under the old name, the changeover comes following over two and a half years of research, community engagement and planning.

and new brand of Coast Mountain College in place as of today

With the new name comes a new focus for how Coast Mountain College plans to move forward, with the college seeking to be the college of choice for experiential place-based learning.

A notice on the college website indicates that the new website is under construction.

Coast Mountain College outlined some of the themes for the day's changeover with this information release from later in the morning.
