| Prince Rupert Lions are looking for new members for 2022 |
The New Year has the Prince Rupert Lions Club thinking of the future, with the local service organization issuing a call for new members for 2022 as they look to increase their work around the community.
The organization which provides for a range of services and makes significant financial contributions through the year for local groups and causes outlined their quest for new members through their Social Media Feed this week.
One of the popular events that is hosted by the Lions Club just concluded prior to the New Year with the 2021 Blue Knuckle Derby once again making for a popular and financially successful event, with over 800 tickets sold to go along with the generous contribution of prizes from area merchants.
Money raised through events such as the Blue Knuckle Derby and others from the organization serve to help finance their work in Prince Rupert through the year.
