The return to play for the CIHL come following the annual pause over the Christmas and New Year's period.
The break actually a bit longer for the Rhinos who last saw action on December 11th when they lost a hard fought OT battle to their rivals from Terrace.
The January road festival starts off on Saturday when the Rampage take on the Nechako North Stars in Vanderhoof, with Sunday making for a stop in Hazleton with a matchup with the Wolverines.
Saturday's game has a 7:30 start time at the Vanderhoof Municipal Ice Rink, with some early game notes from the CIHL are available here.
The Sunday visit to the Hazelton has a 1 PM puck drop at the Hazelton Arena, some CIHL notes on that contest are available here.
The Prince Rupert squad will be hoping that Hunter Johnson currently third in scoring and Judd Repole just a few points below on the scoring leader table can shake off the near month long rust of the break and keep up their pace into the first week of February.

The two Rampage contests are among six games this weekend to get the league back onto the ice.
Terrace and Kitimat are both off on the Great Cariboo adventure this weekend with games in Williams Lake and Quesnel to make for a busy two days of back to back games.
Update: Word Friday indicates that the Terrace River King games have been postponed owing to a COVID-19 outbreak among some team members, the games are to be rescheduled
