British Columbia reached a bit of a COVID milestone today, topping the 10,000 mark of reported cases of the coronavirus in the province since officials began tracking the path of the virus.
And while the accounts of 10,000 plus cases of COVID was a startling thing to see; on the day news was a bit better with the level of the last 24 hours set at 110 new case reports down from yesterday with an active case listing of 1,394 patients for the day.
Today being a Thursday, Dr. Bonnie Henry's presentation was streamed live across the province.
“Today, we are announcing 110 new cases, including one epi-linked case, for a total of 10,066 cases in British Columbia.“We have the tools and resources to protect ourselves and our loved ones while COVID-19 is with us this winter and fall.
