Rotarians preparing for Annual Christmas Tree Sale

The quiet before the frenzy at the corner of Sixth East an
McBride Street, where Rotarians will soon be selling
Christmas Trees once again

They're not here yet, but once they arrive, the harvest of Christmas Trees won't last long for the Annual Prince Rupert Rotary Club Sale, which is set to get underway this Weekend.

The trees are soon to be enroute from the Terrace region, packed into a Bandstra Trailer destined for the Basketball courts at the corner of Sixth East and McBride.

Once they arrive, Rotarians and some helpful elves from Prince Rupert Minor Hockey will get to the task of setting up the urban forest which will make for many a Christmas memory this season.

The Tree Sale Starts Saturday, December 4, at 11 AM, with the schedule to follow through December as follows:

Monday to Friday -- 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Saturday -- 11 AM to 5 PM
Sunday -- 2  PM to 5 PM

Trees will be available until they're gone, with the early days of the annual sale making for some of the busiest  for the event for the volunteers of the Rotary club.

The money raised from the Annual Tree Sale is used to help fund a number of the Rotary Programs in the community.

Follow the Prince Rupert Rotary Facebook page for updates as the Tree Sale moves forward.
